Project Process

Archventures Project Process

A CROSS-SECTOR APPROACH:

Our project process reflects the unique structure of our organization. To facilitate project completion, half of our organization works in community engagement activities while the other half works in design/build activities. From beginning to end, we draw from different workforce sectors to ensure that our projects are fiscally and environmentally responsible and that nonprofit community stakeholders have a variety of ways to engage the project in the process. Together, our students, professional mentors and nonprofit stakeholders make each project a success

Community engagement tasks are carried out by a wide variety of students and professionals and they include the following:

  • Community organizing
  • Organization administration
  • Marketing and communication
  • Fundraising
  • Event planning
  • Project finance consulting
  • Researching and teaching

*Reports to Director of Operations

Design/Build tasks are carried out by designers, builders, architects, engineers and contractors and they include the following:

  • Design
  • Costing materials
  • “green” consulting
  • Acquiring materials
  • Creating marketing materials
  • Building

*Reports to Director of Projects
