Archventures Project Process
Our project process reflects the unique structure of our organization. To facilitate project completion, half of our organization works in community engagement activities while the other half works in design/build activities. From beginning to end, we draw from different workforce sectors to ensure that our projects are fiscally and environmentally responsible and that nonprofit community stakeholders have a variety of ways to engage the project in the process. Together, our students, professional mentors and nonprofit stakeholders make each project a success
Community engagement tasks are carried out by a wide variety of students and professionals and they include the following:
- Community organizing
- Organization administration
- Marketing and communication
- Fundraising
- Event planning
- Project finance consulting
- Researching and teaching

Design/Build tasks are carried out by designers, builders, architects, engineers and contractors and they include the following:
- Design
- Costing materials
- “green” consulting
- Acquiring materials
- Creating marketing materials
- Building

PROJECT PROCESS STAGES:
The Archventures project process is comprised of seven stages as shown in the table below. Project timeframes vary according to the scope of the project and permitting requirements.
